Chefs and Cooks

Roy Jr. is new frontier in inner-city hospitality. Breakfast and lunch, seven days a week, serving a range of wholesome meals. Roy Jr. is located in London Circuit, Canberra. It is the perfect city stop to relax on the alfresco deck to watch the hustle and bustle go by.

We are currently looking for qualified and talented Chefs and Cooks for full time position to work with our kitchen team.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Ensure food preparation and presentation adheres to company standards.
2. Work effectively within the kitchen team to deliver exceptional service and products to guests.
3. Demonstrate a working understanding of food, hygiene and safety principles.
4. Adherence to House Policies and Procedures, including OH&S legislation.

Skills and Experience:

1. Related cookery qualification is preferred and at least 1-year relevant experience.
2. Advance hygiene knowledge.
3. Safe and accurate knife skills.
4. Experience with pans and grill required.
5. Knowledge and experience in a variety of different cooking methods.
6. Flexibility with working hours including evenings and weekends.
7. Ability to contribute to planning for menu specials.

Salary: $70,000 to $75,000 per year commensurate to qualifications, skills, & experience
