Graduate Engineer

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Darwin team. You will have the opportunity to combine professional and technical learning, on-the job learning alongside ongoing mentoring whilst working on real-world, innovative projects. You will have the opportunity work on industrial automation projects from kick-off to hand over, including design documentation, PLC, RTU and SCADA programming, factory acceptance testing, on-site commissioning and hand-over documentation. 
 
To be successful in this position you will: 

• Be highly motivated, enthusiastic, proactive and resourceful with a great attitude. 

• Have knowledge of PLC, SCADA and HMI systems (Desirable). 

• Basic understanding of electrical circuit fundamentals. 

• Be highly competent at report and technical writing. 

• Provide assistance with technical delivery and execution of projects. 

• Work within a team environment alongside other junior and senior Engineers. 

• Provide project assistance and support to the Project Managers and Support Technicians.. 

• Assist Estimators with the development of proposals and tender responses.. 

• Ability to maintain confidentiality, accuracy and prioritise work to meet conflicting deadlines. 

• Possess the confidence and ability to liaise with management and internal staff. 

Key requirements: 

• Be an undergraduate or recent graduate of Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering. 

• Have high computer competency, particularly with MS Office. 

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Have a strong desire and interest to work within the automation industry. 

• Australian drivers licence. 

• Must have the right to work in Australia.
