About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable High Reach Forklift Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations, excellent forklift handling skills, and a commitment to safety. You will be responsible for efficiently moving, stacking, and organizing stock in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a high reach forklift safely and efficiently to move goods and materials.
- Load, unload, and stack products in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform stock rotation and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and general warehouse duties as required.
- Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance on forklifts.
- Follow all workplace health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to optimize workflow.
Requirements:
- Valid High Reach Forklift License (LF) and proven experience operating a high reach forklift.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in a physically demanding role.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking (preferred but not essential).
