About the role
We are currently looking for Leading Hands with experience in the Infrastructure sector to express their interest in joining an Infrastructure project located in Cairns. These roles are fast-paced and varied, where you will be responsible for managing or assisting in managing the daily operations on-site to ensure the successful and cost-effective completion of the project.

Skills & Attributes

• Experience in Plant Operation, Construction, and Project Delivery processes.
• Strong leadership abilities, including planning and organizational skills.
• Proven experience in handling multiple projects while prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Excellent skills in planning, organization, and problem-solving, combined with the ability to inspire, lead, and influence others.

Key Duties

• Accountable for organizing and scheduling daily site activities in alignment with the project timeline, making adjustments as required.
• Ensure the project meets all relevant legal requirements, regulations, and industry standards.
• Oversee the coordination of team members, subcontractors, machinery, and equipment necessary for the project. Provide guidance and support to project staff in addressing any technical or complex challenges that arise.
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
