Your responsibilities will include:
We're on the hunt for an experienced Network Engineer to provide expert guidance across various stakeholders and manage network engineering activities.
Responsibilities:
Offer strategic advice on network engineering matters, aligning with organizational goals.
Develop and maintain robust network security measures, ensuring comprehensive documentation
Collaborate with SMEs and users to manage network specifications and requirements.
Optimize network performance through monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
Develop and maintain robust network security measures, ensuring comprehensive documentation.
Implement vendor updates and manage network enhancements.
Coordinate project network requirements and manage implementations.
Provide comprehensive support for systems and tool suites, ensuring high data availability and security.
Establish system parameters, ensuring hardware/software compatibility.
Perform programming changes to adapt or enhance programs as needed.
Maintain supplied software packages for internal users.
About you:
Embark on a thrilling journey as a Network Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where you'll be at the forefront of innovation and digital transformation. You'll bring your in-depth knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and routing/switching technologies to our dynamic team. We're on the hunt for a seasoned Mid-Level Network Engineer to provide expert guidance across various stakeholders and manage network engineering activities
Technical knowledge, qualifications and experience required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience using relevant scripting languages (e.g. Perl, Python, Bash, Sal)
Experience and knowledge of content, processes, and procedures associated with implementing enterprise applications. This includes implementing processes & procedures across multiple disciplines including, systems, networking & zones, storage making recommendations for purchases of hardware and software
Significant application of technical knowledge and experience in computer systems and applications with a working knowledge of other related disciplines
Outstanding problem-solving skills and a results-oriented approach.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
