PAINTER

PAINTING TRADES WORKER required for a well-established Australian company “ASIL PAINTING” specialized in quality painting services and located in Hoppers Crossing VIC 3029. Prospective applicants must have prior experience of working commercially as a painting trades worker. Duties include.

1. Apply paint and varnishes to decorate by using different brushes, rollers.
2. Applying all kind of paints like acrylic, oil-based paints, weather shield paint, water based and glossy paints.
3. Apply final coat of paint as and where required.
4. Secure the painting area from any damage by laying drop sheets, plastic sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering and
5. Applying masking tape around the windows and glass.
6. Secure all the openings and spaces between the doors to avoid dust coming and going out.
7. Preparing the site for painting by cleaning, sanding, and removing the old paint and wallpapers where required.

In Return, for your commitment and skills, you will receive a competitive salary package of 70K – 80K plus Superannuation and receive ongoing training with the opportunity to develop your career. Applicants with formal qualifications (AQF Certificate III in painting and decorating) with 1 - 2 years of practical experience will be prioritised. Position is available full time, 38 hours/week but applicant must be available for 7 days a week and willing to work odd hours (Weekend & early morning/ late night shifts). Another mandatory requirement is a driving licence & a vehicle. Applicants must be willing to travel across Victoria to perform work in urban and regional locations.
