The Role

Come and join us at our new workshop in Mornington, Victoria. With full heating all through winter, you are sure to be very comfortable working in our new workshop. Our family-owned workshop has immediate vacancies for Experienced Panel Beaters to join our team.

We are an accredited sponsor and sponsorship is available where required.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Full-time Panel Beater role includes the following tasks and duties:

1. Vehicle strips and rebuilds
2. Assessing the extent of motor vehicle repairs, restoration, or customization requests.
3. General repairs and rectification works
4. Remove, repair, and replace damaged panels following repair procedures
5. Assessing the extent of motor vehicle repairs, restoration, or customization requests.
6. Repair dents on damaged vehicles using fillers
7. Filing, grinding, and sanding the body of the vehicle to restore to pre-accident condition
8. Re-fit and align all parts
9. Realign chassis and body frames
10. Working with fibre glass

Qualifications or Requirements

1. Ability to work independently in a time and safe manner and in a team from time to time
2. Qualified panel beater with at least 3 years experience
3. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of qualifications
4. Attention to detail and pride in your work
5. Experience with panel beating on a variety of vehicle brands and models
6. Prestige vehicle experience – such as Mercedes, BMW would be highly regarded
7. Understanding of workplace health and safety
8. Positive and motivated

Salary

1. Annual Salary Range $58,000 to $80,000 salary offer according to skillset, experience, and responsibilities.
