Parks and Gardens Apprenticeship (EOI)

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong interest in horticulture, landscaping, or park maintenance.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a good work ethic.
• Physical fitness for outdoor manual work.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain lawns, gardens, and landscapes to a high standard.
• Perform tasks such as weeding, pruning, mulching, planting, hedging, mowing, and irrigation.
• Operate horticultural equipment including mowers, tractors, and hand tools.
• Assist with the upkeep of parklands and memorial gardens.
• Work as part of a supportive team, ensuring safe and sustainable work practices.
• Attend TAFE and complete on-the-job training.
