Project Manager - Commercial New Build

• Projects valued up to $15 million

• Monday to Friday only – 7:30 AM–4:30 PM or 8 AM–5 PM

• Optional car allowance provided

• Long-standing team – the other two PM's have been with the business for 10+ years

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an ambitious and experienced Project Manager to deliver commercial new builds from start to finish. Your first project is a D&C new build. You’ll take the lead from the early stages through to handover with the support of a Contract Administrator.

Project Scope Includes: Concrete slab on screw piles, structural steel frame, metal roofing, FC and ceramic tile cladding, external landscaping, elevated timber walkways on screw piles, and an asphalt car park.

Your Role

This role suits a hands-on Project Manager with strong commercial construction experience (not just refurbishments & fit outs, although the company do cover projects like that too as part of their diverse portfolio). You’ll be involved early in the construction process, managing client relationships and leading a capable team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all phases of project delivery with your Site Manager

• Drive project timelines, quality standards, and financial targets

• Manage and mentor a Contract Administrator

• Use Procore, MS Project, and Muli (training provided if needed)

• Build strong client relationships to ensure repeat business

• Report directly to the Directors

• Typically manage 2 projects at varying stages with team support

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years’ experience as a Project Manager on commercial new builds - Contract Administrator background is essential for this specific opportunity.

• Degree in Construction Management, Building, or Engineering

• Proven track record delivering new builds/heavy refurbishments $5M+

• Strong understanding of civil and structural elements

• Confident in technical drawings and stakeholder management

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Must have commercial head contractor experience (residential-only experience will not be considered)
