Manager, Social Centre (OT Clinical leadership role)

The Opportunity
This newly created clinical leadership role at Silverchain will lead and manage the daily operations of our Social Centres. As Manager, Social Centres, you will travel to our various metro and regional locations, fostering a positive culture and a multidisciplinary approach to Best Care. Reporting to our Head of Community Care, you will collaborate with other Heads of Department to support the achievement of the organisational strategy and business objectives.
This is a full time role, Monday to Friday 7.30am – 3.30pm and will involve travel to metro and regional Social Centres. When you are not travelling you will be expected to work from our Osborne Park base 1 day per week and from home 1 – 2 days per week.
Responsibilities
• Manage the daily operations of the Social Centres, ensuring efficient governance, coordination of activities, and optimal resource allocation to maintain smooth service delivery and compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Lead, supervise and support Centre Coordinators, care staff and volunteers, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to care and ensuring a safe, engaging environment for clients across a broad spectrum of needs including clients living with dementia
• Support Centre Coordinators to deliver a therapeutic program by designing and overseeing delivery of services ensuring alignment with individual client needs and service objectives, while identifying opportunities to enhance client experience. Promote and manage multidisciplinary services provided through the Social Centres (internal and external resources) inclusive of adherence to required regulatory and Best Care standards
• Manage resource allocation for all Social Centres, including workforce, consumables and budgets.
• Analyse and interpret financial and operational data to drive business decisions. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, families, caregivers, community organisations and external service providers, to establish Silverchain as a preferred provider of therapeutic and social support services across day programs (including agreed community-based groups) and respite options (extended and cottage respite)
• Oversee and manage complex staff and client feedback and incidents, to ensure timely and effective resolution and the continued provision of quality services.
About you
• Tertiary qualification in a related discipline is required, with current OT AHPRA registration in an Allied Health
• Demonstrated leadership abilities to lead, empower, motivate, coach and mentor a multidisciplinary team to drive results
• High-level commercial acumen skills to analyse market trends, identifying business opportunities, and making data-driven decisions to drive revenue growth
• A demonstrated understanding of aged, community and health care
• Demonstrated experience supporting Dementia care would be highly advantageous
• Demonstrated experience with leading remote teams successfully.
