Find purpose and impact
As our Waste Attendant, you’ll make an impact by playing an essential, hands-on role in keeping the Dubbo region clean and enjoyable for all. As our Waste Attendant you'll have the opportunity to be at the leading edge of waste and recycling whilst we transition away from the old school landfill mentality towards resource recovery and circular economy initiatives. You'll work with an experienced team whose passion is ensuring the best for our environment and operate state of the art equipment. Working across all aspects of the waste facility, including the weighbridge, every day will be different bringing its own set of experiences and positive challenges. We are looking for multiple applicants to work as Waste Attendant's based at both our Dubbo and Wellington facilities.

What you'll bring
To thrive in this role, you will need:
Plant operator competence in loader, compactor, forklift, bobcat and/or other plant operation applicable to landfill operations including mechanical aptitude.
We would also love you to have:
(Desirable requirements)
Work related experience in Waste Management, Civil and/or Quarry Operations.
Knowledge of Dubbo Regional Council geography.

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $57,826 to $76,484 (dependent on qualifications).
